Exasol Names Thomas Siekmann Chief Information Officer "I am very excited to have joined the Exasol leadership team as CIO," said Mr. Siekmann. "Exasol's high-performance analytics database is thrilling. It's fast, easy to implement, and easy to maintain. This brings massive business value to costumers looking to accelerate their data-driven decision making." Mr. Siekmann joins the Exasol leadership team during a time of accelerated growth and international expansion, which comes with certain challenges that require constant innovation and flexibility in the internal IT-landscape. Exasol went public in May 2020, the first German company to IPO last year, and has continued to grow impressively year-on-year in the highly promising Big Data and Business Analytics market. "Thomas's experience in leading large scale IT management projects will be instrumental as Exasol continues to grow in the coming months," said Aaron Auld, CEO of Exasol. "Our teams are very focused on delivering the best possible experience for all customers every step of their Exasol journey, and I'm very pleased that we can count on Thomas and his team to support our customer obsession across the entire organization." Mr. Siekmann has vast experience in leading IT teams in large enterprises and midsize companies (mittlestand sector in Germany). Prior to joining Exasol, Mr. Siekmann held the position of VP of IT and Digitalization for Siemens Gamesa Renewable Service GmbH. Other previous positions include Chief Digital Officer at Mueller, CIO at Unify, and Head of Global Business Operations at Deutsche Telekom. ### About Exasol To learn more, please visit: www.exasol.com
