We hereby provide you with an overview of the processing of your personal data (hereinafter referred to as “data”) in the area of Investor Relations.

    (hereinafter referred to as “Exasol”) is the controller of the processing of your data. We are processing your data in accordance with the provisions of the GDPR and the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG).

  2. Purpose of the processing and legal basis
    We use the data you provide to Exasol (e.g. name, e-mail address, postal address) in order to provide you with the desired services or to handle your respective requests (e.g. inquiries, IR newsletters, information relevant to stock corporation or company law). The legal basis for the processing is Art. 6 (1) lit. c and f GDPR. We thus fulfil our obligation of transparency toward the capital market.
  3. Recipients of the data
    Within the Exasol group, only those entities that need your data in order to fulfil the purpose mentioned under 2. will have access to it. Processors are used by us in accordance with instruction from us and only have access to your data if and to the extent necessary for the provision of services.
  4. Period of data storage
    If you have given us your contact details for receiving the IR newsletter, we will store the data until you inform us that you no longer wish to receive the IR newsletter. If your correspondence with us is subject to statutory retention periods, it will be stored until the end of these periods.
  5. Your rights
    At any time you have the right to obtain information about the personal data we have stored about you. If the data is incorrect or no longer up-to-date, you have the right to rectification. You also have the right to demand the erasure or the restriction of the processing of your data in accordance with Art. 17 and 18 GDPR. You have the right to receive your personal data, which you have provided to us, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and to transmit those data to another controller without hindrance from us, where the processing is based on a consent or a contract and the processing is carried out by automated means (right to data portability).
    You have the right to object to the processing of your data according to Art. 21 GDPR. We will then no longer process your data unless there are compelling legitimate grounds for the processing.

  6. Cookies
    Our Investor Relations website uses what are known as cookies in several places. They serve to make the site more user-friendly and effective. Cookies are small text files that are stored by your browser on your computer. The cookies we use are session cookies and are deleted once you close your browser session. These are used to enable you to use our website. A session cookie contains a session ID (a randomly created, unique identification number).

    The cookies used on this site are functional cookies these cookies help make a website usable by enabling basic functions like page navigation and access to secure areas of the website. The website cannot function properly without these cookies.

    EquityStory functional Only used in EQS server infrastructure. Helps the loadbalancer to point the data to one of the seven servers.
    IRPages2_Session functional Normally nothing is saved. It is only created and used when a user uses certain functions, ie. A shopping cart or logindata etc.

    Then the session is used to write this stored data into the database and to read from the database. So it is only a unique key for each site visitor. If the customer does not have such functions, no data about the session is stored in the database.
